The Ircon Modline 6 series thermometers have been designed for demanding industrial applications (thermal treatment of metals, steel production, foundry, etc.).
The Ircon Modline 6 has high speed numerical signal processors with RS-485 serial data communication network capability supporting up to 32 sensors. System requirements for Modline 6 Multipoint Support Software include a computer with 4MB (min.) of RAM running Microsoft® Windows NT4/Windows 2000/XP.
The Modline 6 consists of a rugged fiber optic cable and a reimaging lens. They are connected to an electronic box. This measuring instrument has simultaneous analog and numerical outputs.
- Thermometer allows the measurement of targets in harsh industrial environments, inaccessible by optical thermometers without optical fibers
- Fixed focus reimaging lens comprising a small cylindrical stainless steel housing and lens assembly
- Simultaneous analog and numerical outputs
- Bottom compensation capabilities on 62 and 6G series
- Ambient operating temperatures: 0 to 200°C (standard thermometer) or 0 to 315°C (high temperature option thermometer)
- Additional accessories include stainless steel bleed collars, adjustable and special mounting brackets, power supplies and much more.
This pyrometer is now replaced by the Endurance fiber-optic pyrometer.
